Chef and patron of the Piazza Palmieri Restaurant
Stefano Dalessio was born in 1983 in Monopoli (Ba). He attended the I.P.S.S.A.R. School in Castellana Grotte(Ba) where he got his hospitality training. During his studies, he began working in a famous restaurant situated on the Monopoli hill land. In the following years, he worked as executive Chef in the Royal Inn Hotel in San Mauro Mare. In 2004, he became part of the kitchen team of the Sheraton Nicolaus Hotel in Bari and he has been recognized with several culinary certificates. In 2006 he moved back in Monopoli starting a new adventure in a seafood restaurant. From 2008 to 2012, he started co-managing that restaurant with a partner. On March 27th 2013, he wrote a new chapter in his life, opening Piazza Palmieri Restaurant in his town. Today, Stefano takes care of his dishes inspired by our tradition and made unique by the Adriatic Sea and its raw materials.
